No matter what anyone says, or what your situation is, each little bit of singing in your life makes your life all that much better. I firmly believe that studying voice can be one of the most rewarding aspects of life. I look forward to practicing, performing, and teaching every day, and I look forward to working with you! My livelihood comes from doing what I love, and I love doing what I do. Teaching and singing is my calling - it's what I've settled into as a way of life, and it's what I enjoy doing.  One of my gifts, as a 'inner intuitive' has proven to serve me well- as a 'great assist' while mentoring students... as it has always led me to know exactly how to bring about that 'best' in all those I am honored to work with. I have devoted a major part of my life to studying voice. I began singing as a young child in my room while imitating opera singers on PBS. You could say "I got my start" from being a featured soloist with many different musical groups and organizations; which led to requests for weddings, parties, religious ceremonies, theater productions, studio recordings, charity events, award ceremonies, recitals, contests, clubs, and funerals. My formal education started with a study of vocal performance at Mesa Community College. I then continued on to study Musical Theater with exceptional teachers at Arizona State University, where I found my greater love. In 2001, among the numerous vocal and performance workshops that I attended, I was introduced to Speech Level Singing (SLS), and began carefully studying this amazing method. This technique has proven to me that, with the proper technique, there is no limit to what can be achieved vocally. I am a Level 4 endorsed Certified Speech Level Singing Instructor with several years of teaching experience in Speech Level Singing. We believe not only are we teachers, but students as well. We will never slow down our quest of contuining our education as it brings us that much closer & faster in assisting you.
