Speech Level Singing (SLS) is founded on the concept of singing in the same comfortable manner with which you speak.  It was developed by Seth Riggs of Los Angeles, California and it is the foundation on which over 100 Grammy award winners, four metropolitan opera winners, and countless Broadway as well as major motion picture stars and television personalities have built their careers. Seth Riggs is considered by many to be the best and most successful voice teacher in the world, hands down he is the entertainment world's top vocal instructor! (and it's a pleasure working with him)   This technique is a way of using your voice that allows you to sing freely and clearly anywhere in your range, with all of your words clearly understood. Since you are not learning what to sing, but rather how to sing, you can apply this technique to any type of music. Singing is a natural process. The technique we teach is very much about freeing the instrument, finding each singer's sound, and removing excess tensions we all carry that keep us from singing easily and at our best. In many cases SLS rehabilitates vocal damage caused by poor teaching or years of abuse, that could otherwise limit or even end a career, or worse - require continual medical intervention.   The SLS technique can be applied to singers, public speakers, actors or anyone who wants to perfect their vocal presence and empower themselves in speech.
